ChatNIL.ai is operated by Ogentic AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Dallas, Texas, USA.

What we collect and why

We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Session data: your chat messages, questions, and any details you share (such as sport, division, state) to personalize responses and maintain context.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info, approximate location (from IP), timestamps (standard web logs).
• Account data (if you create one): email address and password hash, for login and saving your work.
• Payment data (if you purchase a paid plan): handled by our payment processor. We never see full card details.

We do not collect full names, phone numbers, addresses, audio/video, or sensitive personal data beyond what you type in chat.

How we use your data

• To power the AI chat and personalize answers
• To improve the service (anonymous usage stats, feedback)
• To detect abuse or spam
• For billing, if you purchase a paid plan

Storage & retention

• Chat history and saved work are stored while your account is active (or until you delete them).
• Inactive accounts are deleted after 12 months of no use.
• Logs (IP, timestamps) are kept for 90 days for security.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your data. We share only with:

• Service providers: our hosting, payment, email, and security/logging providers, all under data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: if compelled by law (for example, a subpoena).

Your rights

To access, correct, or delete your data, contact us through our website. California residents have additional CCPA/CPRA rights (know, delete, opt out of sale, which we do not do).

Minors

ChatNIL is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the service. Parents: if your minor child uses ChatNIL, you consent to their data being processed as described.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify account holders by email of material changes.
